OUR MISSION:

Helping the dogs (and where possible other pets) of those who are at risk from;

Domestic Violence
Homelessness
Mental Health

To feed them, provide shelter, safety, rehabilitation and training.

Access to services to house the dogs of those afflicted by domestic violence until they are able to get back on their feet and provide a suitable home for their pets.

Rehabilitation of dogs in critical need, with access to dogtraining101 trainers, at no charge to our organisation, saves dogs lives and ensures they are able to start their new lives on the right paw. Their trainers provide key education for owners to ensure dogs are able to be returned in a safe and enriching environment for the owners and dogs.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the life force of DHM Dogs. They touch every aspect of our operations and provide the highest-quality input. This work enables us to have a positive impact on the lives of people at risk from Homelessness, Domestic Violence and Mental Health, subsequently helping the pets of those at risk.

Donate To Our Cause

DHM Dogs step in to provide free accommodation to animals to allow their owners time and space to get back on their feet, ensuring they don’t have to surrender their pets. Our trainers are on hand to provide intensive rehabilitation for abused dogs.

Foster A Dog

For many foster carers, the experience of fostering an animal can be extremely rewarding, especially when seeing them returned to a safe and loving home. These animals are in desperate need of human contact and to the special few fostering these animals, the experience can change their lives.

As an idividual or family, you can subscribe for as little as the cost of a cup of coffee each month or buy a brick toward building our individual facilities at our farm. (Location of our facility is ket private to protect the animals and their owners who may be victims of abuse) We will post or send out monthly updates on the journey of your sponsored pet with training and rehabilitation snapshots to share.
